Conti has employed its extensive in-house groundwater extraction capabilities to implement groundwater and water treatment systems at many hazardous waste sites. This requires addressing a wide variety of toxic substances including volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPLs) and metals.

We are capable of designing, constructing and operating water/groundwater treatment systems, whether permanent or short-term. Conti-built water treatment plants comply with both established regulatory permit requirements and customer specifications. Our plants include the full spectrum of such conventional water treatment unit processes as Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), Powdered Activated Carbon (PACT), air stripping, oil/water separation, flow equalization, filtration, metals removal and sludge treatment.
